

Joseph
E. Ruder II, DDS, earned his dental degree from the University of
Tennessee College of Dentistry, after earning his bachelor’s degree
from the University of Mississippi. Prior to entering private
practice, he served an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery
at Emory University. He was awarded the Cecily W. Tipton Memorial
Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Achievement, the American
Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Award, the Bartlett
Express Best Dentist Award (2009), and America’s Top Dentist Award
(2010). Dr. Ruder has taken numerous postgraduate education courses,
with specific training in placing and restoring dental implants,
cosmetic dentistry, and root canal therapy. He maintains membership
in the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association,
Memphis Dental Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental
Society, Dean Honorary Odontological Society, Dental Implant
Aesthetic Center Study Club, and Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce.
His community involvement includes volunteering at the Church Health
Center and helping underserved children. He and his wife Michelle
have three beautiful children, and in his spare time, Dr. Ruder
enjoys spending time with his family and friends, running marathons,
and watching the Ole Miss Rebels.

J. David Caldwell, DDS, earned his dental degree from the University
of Tennessee

College of Dentistry, after earning his bachelor’s degree from MTSU.
Dr. Caldwell is pleased to have been chosen for listing in the 2010
edition of “topDENTISTS” in the Family Dentistry category. He
believes that membership in professional organizations is essential
to keeping up to date on the latest technologies, techniques, and
breakthroughs, and is therefore a member of the following: American
Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental
Society, Dean Honorary Odontological Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon
Honorary Dental Society, Dental Implant Aesthetic Center Study Club,
and the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Caldwell is an active
participant in the community, serving as a volunteer at the Church
Health Center and as an elder at the Independent Presbyterian
Church. He and his wife Joyce have three grown children, all of whom
attended Auburn. When he isn’t cheering on the Auburn Tigers, in his
spare time, Dr. Caldwell enjoys woodworking, tennis, and running.
